FAQs
Where do I sign up?
If you have a team, all the information you need will be found by clicking the ‘players’ button above.
If you’d like to sign up as an individual, let us know by using the form above and we’ll see if we can help find you a team. Generally, people register a whole team rather than by themselves, so it can take a while to find a team looking for players (but we’ll do our best!).
What are the costs?
The first cost is the team registration fee. This is paid once by every team to sign up for the season and covers things such as administration fees. this can be found on the PlayHQ site when registrations for a season are open. Click the ‘players’ button above for more information and a link to PlayHQ.
The second cost is the player registration fee. This is paid by every player after they have a team to register to. It’s a once-a-year payment, and covers them for things such as insurance across all their games in every Basketball Victoria association. This fee goes directly to Basketball Victoria. The third cost is the weekly game fee. Every team pays a fee each week to play, which covers the cost of venue hire and the refs. contact us using the form below for more information on this cost.
There are irregular costs for things such as forfeits or spare shirt hire, which can be found in the fine print section at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, feel free to contact us with the form below.
Costs are subject to change each season but don’t change by much.
What comps do you usually have?
Tuesday: Mixed / Men’s
Thursday: 3x3 / Men’s
Where are the courts?
We play on the courts at Monash University (Peninsula Campus).
There’s a stadium inside their fitness centre. If you’re entering Monash from McMahons Rd, turn right at the roundabout on entry and follow it to the end and you’ll see it on the left. Make sure to park in an area where there’s no permit required.

Do I need to have experience?
No experience needed! Team work makes the dream work, and you’ll have fun regardless of your history playing basketball.
